PBL Showcase 2025 

On March 6th, HC Secondary School scholars presented their PBL projects. Scholars began preparing in mid-January of semester one and worked diligently on their projects throughout the winter holiday. PBL encompasses a wide range of subjects, including Biology, Physics, CDI, and ICS. Some of the projects showcased during the exhibition featured 3D models related to Biology and Physics, as well as educational games inspired by Biology.

After completing their projects, scholars proudly displayed their creations and explained their work to attendees, including parents, staff, and fellow scholars.

PBL not only showcases the academic achievements of scholars but also enhances their interest, confidence, and presentation skills.

Furthermore, 7th-grade scholars each developed a game covering various themes, such as treasure hunting and school life.

Whether working in groups or individually, scholars invested significant time and effort into designing their games. Thoughtful discussions and careful planning ensured that each game was engaging and enjoyable for players.

One team created a game about a girl who gets into trouble in PE, where players must answer Biology-related questions to help the main character pass her PE test. After successfully completing the game, her friends cheer for her in celebration.

Initially, scholars struggled to make the game engaging, as it originally featured only one character. To enhance the experience, they later added more characters, making the game more colorful and interactive. Their goal was to demonstrate that games can be both educational and entertaining.

From scholar presentations in A Building to the guest speaker in the Community Hall, an abundance of knowledge was shared and absorbed across the HC campus.
